The Reinsurer Identifier List (‘the list’) is produced by APRA for the purposes of completing Reporting Form GRF 460.0 Reinsurance Assets by Counterparty and Reporting Form GRF 460.1 Exposure Analysis by Reinsurance Counterparty (and the equivalent reporting forms for Level 2 insurance groups).1 The list is to be used by both general insurers and Level 2 insurance groups (‘insurers’). The list will be updated approximately every six months and presented on APRA’s website. Any changes made to the list will be highlighted and an email will be sent to statistical contacts to alert insurers to the updated list.
