Reporting requirements for residential mortgage lending
Final round - January 2018
On 10 January 2018, APRA released a response letter to its May 2017 consultation on residential mortgage lending reporting requirements and issued revised a reporting standard and reporting guidance.
We made minor clarifications to reporting requirements and amended the reporting guidance as a result of these comments.
We received the following non-confidential submission to the consultation:
Round 2 - May 2017
On 23 May 2017, APRA released a revised ARS 223.0, which responded to submissions received and proposed a small number of additional data items. APRA sought feedback on these additional data items. APRA also released an accompanying reporting practice guide. The consultation closed 23 June 2017.
Round 1 - October 2016
The October consultation outlined APRA's proposal to revise the residential mortgage lending reporting requirements for Authorised Deposit-taking Institutions (ADIs). The discussion paper is accompanied by a draft reporting standard, reporting form and instructions. The consultation closed on 10 February 2017.
