Dear Registered Financial Corporation

In line with APRA’s ongoing commitment to enhancing its regulatory reporting infrastructure, we wish to advise you of significant updates pertaining to the transition from the legacy D2A platform to APRA Connect.

Onboarding of Registered Financial Corporations (RFC)

As outlined in APRA’s Corporate Plan published in August 2025, APRA will transition D2A collections to APRA Connect by the end of 2027.

RFCs were informed of this change via a webinar held on 19 March 2025. A recording of the session is available on APRA’s website.

Why this transition is occurring

APRA is in the process migrating D2A collection to APRA Connect (AC) to streamline and simplify the reporting process while also eliminating the need to use dedicated software when filing a return. For RFCs to continue to meet their reporting obligations RFC’s will be required to transition to AC.

This change only impacts the method of submission (i.e. using APRA Connect instead of D2A). There are no changes to form content being considered by APRA as part of this change.

Action Required

To initiate the on-boarding process, APRA requests your organisation to nominate a Regulatory Reporting Administrator (RRA). Please complete the RRA Nomination form and return it to APRA via email at: dataanalytics@apra.gov.au.

The RRA will be responsible for managing user access and permissions within APRA Connect in accordance with your organisation’s governance processes.

We kindly ask that the above action be completed by 31st October 2025.
