Consultation on new application form to own or control a registrable superannuation entity licensee
On 15 July 2019, after a two-week consultation period, APRA released the new application form and accompanying instruction guide for parties seeking to request approval from APRA to own or control a stake greater than 15 per cent in a registrable superannuation entity (RSE) licensee.

Consultation on draft Application Form – Approval to own or control a registrable superannuation entity (RSE) licensee –Closed
From 5 July 2019, APRA must approve a party seeking to acquire a stake greater than 15 per cent in an RSE licensee. As such, on 24 June 2019, APRA released for consultation a draft form and guide for parties seeking to apply to own or control these stakes.
This consultation was open for submissions until 5 July 2019.
