The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has released the December 2024 edition of the National Claims and Policies Database (NCPD) statistics.

The NCPD contains policy and claims data on professional indemnity and public and product liability insurance collected from APRA-regulated general insurers. The latest release includes updated policy, claims, Lloyd’s and facility reports, supporting analysis of claims trends and developments in the liability insurance market.

Published data is privacy masked. Eligible organisations and individuals may apply for access to unmasked publication data, subject to APRA approval and the applicable privacy terms and conditions.
