Quarterly Superannuation Product Statistics
APRA publishes statistics on the superannuation products on a quarterly basis.
In June 2023, APRA released the inaugural Quarterly Superannuation Product Statistics (QSPS). The second in a suite of new publications, which leverage new reporting standards implemented in Phase 1 of the Superannuation Data Transformation project to increase the transparency of the superannuation industry.
The QSPS publication lists all superannuation products offered by each APRA-regulated superannuation fund and the investment menus and investment options available through these products. The publication also contains granular information on fees and costs, investment performance, investment strategy and asset allocation for a range of products and investment options.
APRA intends to expand the population of QSPS on a progressive basis to include additional product segments of the superannuation industry; enhanced demographic data for MySuper products; enhanced fees disclosed and information on insurance offered to superannuation members on a default basis.
The Quarterly Superannuation Product Statistics media release is available at: APRA’s new super publication puts product-level data in focus.
