APRA is writing to provide notice of the dates from which the Alternate Submission Process will no longer be available for ADI reporting collections that have migrated to APRA Connect.
Since these collections were migrated, there has been strong take-up of reporting through APRA Connect, with most entities now using the system to submit their returns. Given this, APRA is moving to complete the transition by confirming the first reporting periods from which submission through APRA Connect will be mandatory.
From the reference periods listed below, entities must submit the relevant reporting collections through APRA Connect. The Alternate Submission Process will not be available for those collections after the respective date.
| Collection | First reporting period for which APRA Connect submission is mandatory |
|---|---|
| Liquidity 210.5 monthly return | 31 July 2026 |
| Economic and Financial Statistics (EFS) | 31 August 2026 |
| All other ADI reporting collections that have migrated to APRA Connect1 | 30 September 2026 |
Completing the transition to APRA Connect will support improved data accuracy and quality, provide a more consistent reporting experience for entities, and simplify APRA’s processing of submitted data.
Entities should review their internal processes and ensure that relevant staff and service providers are prepared to submit the affected collections through APRA Connect from the applicable reporting period.
If this change raises any concerns for your entity, or if you anticipate any difficulty submitting through APRA Connect by the relevant date, please contact APRA at dataanalytics@apra.gov.au as soon as possible.
Yours sincerely
