APRA resumes consultation period on data confidentiality for general and life insurers

The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has announced the resumption of the consultation period for a proposal to determine all classes of business data for general insurance and all product group data for life insurance as non-confidential.

APRA suspended the consultation on 23 March this year in response to the impact of COVID-19. The consultation resumes today and will last for four weeks. Submissions on this proposal will close on 3 December 2020.
