Beginning Monday, 15 October, the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) will have a new telephone number for enquiries from the general public.
The existing Call Centre number, 13 10 60, will cease to operate at 6.30 pm today, with the new number 1300 13 1060 coming into effect at 8 am on Monday.
This change will enable APRA to maintain a high level of service to callers with questions on banking, credit unions, building societies, superannuation, friendly societies or general or life insurance - but at lower cost.
There will be no change in the cost to callers. All calls made to 1300 13 1060 remain at the cost of a local call.
