Returns for Life Insurance Companies

By using this site you are deemed to have read and acknowledged our disclaimer.

APRA requires life insurance companies to lodge a number of quarterly, half-yearly and annual returns. The following document identifies the requirements for the lodgement of these returns (PDF format, click here for instructions):

Checklist for quarterly, half-yearly and annual reporting requirements (47 kb)

Revised due dates for 31 December 2005 returns under PR 26 and PR 35

For the first returns due under the revised reporting reflecting the adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards, life insurers are reminded of the general extension of six weeks for the 31 December 2005 returns under Prudential Rules No 26 - Collection of Statistics and Prudential Rules No 35 - Financial Statements.

Lodgement of these returns are made under the APRA Life Insurance Diskette Lodgement System. Please click here to be directed to the Life Insurance Diskette Lodgement System page for more information on the release of the revised version of the system.
