APRA requires life insurance companies to lodge a number of quarterly, half yearly and annual returns. The following document identifies the requirements for the lodgement of these returns (PDF format, click here for instructions) :

A significant number of these returns are required on APRA's Excel based diskette lodgement system. On 29 May 1998, APRA issued Version 4 of this system. The following documents were among those released with the system:
