The quarterly publication provides industry aggregate summaries of financial performance, financial position, solvency, capital adequacy and management capital, as well as details of the performance of individual product groups. It is more detailed than the previously published Life Insurance Trends it replaces.

This half yearly publication provides information on the concentration of assets and market share of premium income among the top ten life insurers. The publication also provides details of life insurance premium movements by product type.

Life Insurance Financial Information December 2001

This publication contained aggregate industry information on profit and loss, balance sheet, solvency, premium revenue, investment revenue, policy payments and administration expenses. It also contained company level abstracts on profit and loss, balance sheet, solvency, sources of profit and assets.
