Data Submission KPMG utility

When D2A was first launched, KPMG created a temporary application, designed specifically to assist banks to make the transition to this new technical environment.

As the features contained on the forms are becoming more complex with each release, it is becoming difficult to support this approach.

APRA does not currently have a fixed date for phasing out its support for this tool. As forms are created (any new ones) or modified they will be assessed to see if they can be supported with the KPMG utility. As a general rule, it is unlikely that new forms would be supported as they tend to use the latest features. APRA will endeavour to give the maximum notice of forms that cannot be supported.

Any forms not contained in this list are not supported.

The KPMG Utility also requires the APRA Taxonomy files.

Unfortunately the utility is no longer provided by KPMG. There are several specialist providers who may be able to assist you. The www.xbrl.org.au website is a good starting point. APRA cannot endorse any specific provider.

APRA will continue to provide the Taxonomy files which allow institutions to develop their own XBRL documents. The taxonomy files contain the necessary tags and structural information required to create APRA compatible XBRL files.
