The new version of D2A is version 4.1. APRA has released this version for all reporting entities.

If you currently use D2A to submit data on behalf of any industry and use version 2.4a you should contact the D2A Help Desk on 02 9210 3400.

Where do I access D2A?

The reporting requirements for superannuation entities require a different D2A version depending on whether:

• You are an external administrator, accountant or other service provider lodging returns on behalf of the trustee of a superannuation entity (click here); or
• You are a trustee of a superannuation entity lodging returns (click here)

ABN as unique identifier in D2A

To use D2A, each entity requires the unique Australian Business Number (ABN) issued by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). Organisations submitting on behalf of more than one superannuation entity (such as trustees and administrators) also require an ABN. You can apply for an ABN at http://www.abr.business.gov.au or by phoning 1300 651 210 or by downloading form "nat2944" from the ATO website.
