Under the legislation FHSA providers may commence offering FHSAs from 1 October 2008. Authorised Deposit-taking Institutions and Life Companies that are providing FHSAs (according to their websites and by contacting their customer service centre) are listed below. This list is updated by close of business every Friday.

Notification to APRA form
Under section 123 of the FHSA Act, ADIs and life insurance companies are required to notify APRA of their intention to provide FHSAs. The form below may be used for this purpose.
RSE licensees only
Prudential Standard
RSE licensees that offer FHSAs must comply with the Prudential Standard.
Authorisation application form
Only public offer and extended public offer licensees are eligible to apply for authorisation to be an FHSA provider. The FHSA Act requires the application be made in the approved form.

Reporting standard, form and instruction guide
Please note the Instruction Guide replaces the version published on the website in July 2008. The changes are:
B. Changes in number and balance of FHSAs
- Change in wording from "Report both the number of accounts open during the reporting period and the total amount held in the accounts during the period" to "Report both the number of accounts open during the reporting period and the total balance including any charges or interest applied to the account as at the end of each reporting period".
FHSAs at start of reporting period
- The inclusion of an additional line item ‘2.1.7 Accounts closed since the start of the financial year - balances paid to FHSA holders aged 60 or over’.
