Guidelines on Authorisation of Non-Operating Holding Companies of General Insurers

These Guidelines apply to applicants seeking to be authorised as a non-operating holding company (NOHC) of an insurance company or insurance companies under the Insurance Act 1973 (the Act). They outline APRA’s authorisation process for NOHCs, the minimum criteria to be addressed by applicants and the necessary information and documents to be submitted with an application.
