Wayne Byres
Wayne Byres was appointed to his current role in September 2004. Mr Byres joined APRA at its establishment in 1998 and has held various senior supervision and policy roles within the organisation. Prior to APRA, Mr Byres spent 13 years with the Reserve Bank of Australia, mostly in its bank supervision area, and also worked at the Bank of England in the United Kingdom. Mr Byres holds an Honours degree in Economics and a Masters degree in Applied Finance.

Keith Chapman
Keith Chapman was appointed to his current role in June 2008. Mr Chapman joined APRA at its establishment in 1998 and has held a variety of senior roles at APRA in both supervision and policy development areas. Mr Chapman has, at various times, chaired each of APRA's licencing, general insurance, superannuation and ADI cross divisional committees. Prior to APRA's establishment, Mr Chapman was Deputy Commissioner for Superannuation at the Insurance and Superannuation Commission (ISC). This followed senior roles at the ISC in both life insurance and superannuation. Mr Chapman has degrees in both Economics and Science.

Brandon Khoo
Brandon Khoo joined APRA in 1999. He has ten years experience of diverse prudential regulation on financial industry participants. Prior to his appointment at APRA, Mr Khoo held a series of management positions at the Australian Financial Institutions Commission and the Queensland Office of Financial Supervision. Mr Khoo is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Charles Littrell
Mr. Littrell joined APRA in March 2002. Prior to joining APRA, Mr. Littrell had 20 years' experience in banking and finance, primarily at Westpac Banking Corporation. While at Westpac, Mr. Littrell's executive roles included Head of Group Strategy, Head of Australian Deposits and Investments, and Director, Corporate Finance. He is also a board member of SIRCA, the Securities Industry Research Centre of Asia-Pacific Ltd., and a member of the advisory board for the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Sydney.
