APRA Contracts Listing

SENATE ORDER ON DEPARTMENTAL AND AGENCY CONTRACTS LISTING RELATING TO THE PERIOD 1 JULY 2007 TO 30 JUNE 2008

Pursuant to the Senate Order of 20 June 2001 relating to departmental and agency contracts the following table lists each contractual arrangement entered into by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority which:

  1. has not been fully performed as at 30 June 2008 or which has been entered into during the 12 months prior to 30 June 2008; and
  2. provides for a consideration to the value of $100,000 or more. And which in addition indicates:
  3. the contractor, the amount of consideration and the subject matter of each such contract; and
  4. whether each contract contains provisions requiring the parties to maintain confidentiality of any of its provisions, or whether any provisions of the contract are regarded by the parties as confidential and a statement of the reasons for confidentiality

Some of the contracts listed contain confidentiality provisions of a general nature that are designed to protect the confidential information of the parties that may be obtained or generated in carrying out the contract. The reasons for including such clauses include ordinary commercial prudence that requires protection of trade secrets, proprietary information and the like.

Note 1: Estimated cost of complying with this order:

$750 for the Financial Year 2008 listing.

Note 2: Basis of method used to estimate the cost:

application of appropriate salary costs to the estimated time taken to collect, analyse and compile the required information on APRA internet site.

Note 3: The Amount of Consideration:

is either an actual total value including GST or, where the total value is dependent on a fee for services and a usage rate which may vary from time to time, is an anticipated total value including GST based on an assessment of the total fee for services over the expected life of the Contract.
